Float a krathongHow to float a krathong online
Pick a province
Choose the province you want to float for, or let the site find it from your location (the location stays on your device and is never sent to the server). Float alone, as a pair or as a group.
Choose a krathong
Pick from lotus, banana-leaf, bread and more, or turn your own photo into a krathong, then decorate it with candles, lights, flowers, wings, balloons and other items.
Add your name and a wish
Write your name and your wish, and pick the mood you float with, such as looking for love, heartbroken, lonely or in love.

Is LOYKAN free?
Yes. Floating krathongs and playing the game are free. A few special krathong designs can be bought, but bought krathongs never add to a province's count, to keep the ranking fair.
Do I need an account or an app?
No. Open loykan.com on a phone or a computer and start playing.
How is the province ranking counted?
By the number of krathongs floated for each province. Free krathongs, photo krathongs and free racing krathongs all count, up to 20 per person per festival. Bought krathongs do not count.

Yes. Every finished run floats the krathong you raced with for the province you chose. Game scores have their own leaderboard.
Can I use my own photo as a krathong?
Yes. Choose "my photo krathong", upload a photo, position it, remove the background to turn it into a krathong, and pick what it stands on. Inappropriate photos are blocked.
Who can see my wish?
Wishes appear on the krathong and on the wish board for everyone to read. Unsuitable words, phone numbers and links are filtered out before they show.
